Before yesterday, the previous Beat Meet battle took place in a physical venue in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia late 2018. A lot has changed since then, and while most events worldwide faced near extinction TYGS began to make a pivot into the Metaverse.
Over 200 people from across the globe took in our first fully Online battle, with our Beat Meet Top 8 broadcasting through Twitch and into Cryptovoxels, we offered a fully immersive and interactive experience. Fire and Lightning emojis lit up at the end of every round as we narrowed down the competition to our final two producers, but more on that later…
Straight from the first Quarter Final battle between Azryallwayup & DaneZabo the judges knew they were in for a highly competitive battle. Netunoblu pushed through to the Semi Finals after narrowly defeating Tema, while Telkin Beats fell to Nigerian producer skthealternator, who had our judges requesting a beat pack! Last but not least, zulkarnain was no match for fellow Malaysian Mulan Theory to round out the Semi Final rounds.
Only two could move on to our Beat Meet Final that ultimately saw DaneZabo meet Mulan Theory and go head to head to decide our 1st and 2nd place winners.
So what about 3rd place you ask? Well this is where we need your help. We’re asking the community to decide which of our Top 8 (excluding 1st and 2nd place of course) will take home the 3rd place spot!
